My first semester in Environmental science

What I most look forward to in my environmental science class this semester:

This is my first semester taking any sort of science class at the community college level, and I have been looking forward to it with excitement since I began my time in higher education! I spent the first few semesters getting all of the other basics and requirements out of the way, because I knew that it would be easier for me to get through them when I had my favorite classes to look forward to in following semesters. Environmental science specifically has always been a major fascination for me, so much so that I chose to major in environmental science. This semester what I look forward to the most from my environmental science class is the opportunity to learn about the subject more in depth than I have been able to before, and the countless possibilities available to expand my mind and ways of thinking when it comes to this field and life in general. I have not found a 100% solid answer on a career choice in environmental science, and though I do have some more specific leanings, I ultimately want to learn a lot more about whats out there before I make a final decision. I am intrigued by a majority of the subjects I have learned so far and guess ultimately I'm having more of a difficulty deciding what I don't want to do to help me narrow it down.

What I think this class will be about:

I think this class is going be about learning of the earth's systems and how they play a part in impacting our lives. I also believe it is going to cover human presence in the environment both directly and indirectly and the kinds of impacts that human activity leaves on the earth. On top of this, I believe it also going to teach us how environmental science knowledge is utilized or implored in everyday life to help improve our lives.
